Tap Tiles — free online reflex tapping game

Four lanes, a stream of dark tiles, and one rule: hit every single one, in order, without touching an empty lane. Each tile plays a piano note, so a clean run plays a tune. Sprint mode times you over fifty tiles, endless mode runs until you slip. Free in your browser and made for thumbs.

How to play

1. Tap the dark tile nearest the bottom of the screen.
2. Tiles must be hit in order, from the bottom upwards.
3. Tapping an empty lane, or letting a tile slide off the bottom, ends the run.
4. Sprint 50 times how fast you clear fifty tiles. Endless runs until you miss.
5. On a computer the four lanes are the D, F, J and K keys.

Tips

• Use two thumbs. One thumb cannot cover four lanes at speed.
• Watch the bottom third of the screen only. Looking too far ahead is what causes wrong taps.
• Tap rhythm, not tiles — the notes give you a beat to lock into.
• Speed climbs with every tile, so the last ten of a sprint are the hardest. Save your focus for them.
