Block Escape — free sliding block puzzles

Thirty-six sliding block puzzles, in the traffic-jam style where the red block has to reach the exit. Every level has been run through a solver, so all of them are solvable and each one shows the smallest number of moves possible. They start at three moves and build up to genuinely hard. How to play

1. Drag a block along its own direction — blue blocks move up and down, purple ones left and right.
2. Blocks cannot turn and cannot pass through each other.
3. Clear a path for the red block and slide it out through the gap on the right.
4. Undo and Reset are there whenever a level goes wrong.
5. Best possible shows the fewest moves the level can be solved in.

Tips

• Work backwards. Look at what is blocking the exit row first, then at what is blocking that.
• Moving a block out of the way often means moving two others first — plan the whole chain before you start.
• Matching the Best possible number is a separate challenge. Clear the level first, then come back for the perfect run.
• Your progress is saved, so you can stop mid-set and pick up later.
